Interpol frontman Paul Banks is readying a new solo album, which will be released under the moniker Julian Plenti.The new album is titled 'Skyscraper', and is due out in the US August 4.Banks has written under the Plenti penname for many years, according to Billboard. Some of the songs on the album are brand new, but others were written more than 10 years ago. The album reportedly has a "cocky, sexy" feel.Meanwhile, Interpol have been busy rehearsing new material for the follow-up to 2007's 'Our Love To Admire'.--By our Los Angeles staff. in NME Online
